AIMS Institute now offers a 6-month Mini Residency Training Program for psychiatric nurse practitioners who wish to be able to provide the best care in an integrative medicine setting where conventional medicine, naturopathic medicine, psychotherapy and psychedelic medicine are integrated in order to provide effective personalized therapy for people with chronic illness, serious illness, and mental health disorders. In addition to developing a supervised psychiatric practice patient panel, ARNP trainees will learn ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, oral and intravenous nutritional and pain therapies, somatic therapies, psychoactive botanical and fungal medicines, trauma therapies, and counseling. Trainees will learn how to conduct IRB approved clinical outcomes studies. At the completion of the mini-residency psychiatric ARNPs will be able to provide whole person integrated medical and psychiatric care to patients and know how to track and report on clinical and quality of life outcomes.
The schedule will be individualized to the needs and interest of the resident.
