The Advanced Integrative Medical Science (AIMS) Institute is an outpatient clinic and research institute dedicated to advancing integrative medical care, research, and education in oncology, psychiatry, neurology, rehabilitation, pain, and palliative care. It was founded in 2018 by Drs. Leanna J. Standish, N.D., Ph.D. and Sunil K. Aggarwal, M.D., Ph.D. who serve as its co-directors.
At our core, we recognize the right of everyone to enjoy the benefits of scientific progress and its applications, and we are driven by the values of health and social justice. We have committed to The Earth Charter, which declares that “Our environmental, economic, political, social, and spiritual challenges are interconnected, and together we can forge inclusive solutions.” As such, we are making strides to improve the accessibility of our programs for all patients and support our community’s resilience and efficacy.
Our main aim is to provide advanced high-quality integrative medical care for patients living with chronic and serious illness, with conditions traditionally covered by oncology, neurology, psychiatry, rehabilitation, pain, and palliative care.
